Every year, the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA) hosts KBIS, the Kitchen and Bath Industry Show.

This show presents the latest inventions, products and trends within the industry. KBIS has been a market leader over the past 50 years. KBIS hosts more than 600 leading brands every year, 100 of which are new companies with exciting technology and designs. KBIS is the preferred kitchen and bath industry event as it is the only one that allows networking directly with manufacturers on such a large scale.

This past January, professionals in the kitchen and bath industry joined once again to take part in the interactive show, learn about upcoming trends and receive awards. KBIS is a great platform for companies to release and demonstrate their new products. For example, Dal-Tile released a beautiful new collection!

New technologies, as well as modern and minimalist designs, were the big winners at this year’s show.

The Grid by Kallista was this year’s overall winner! Created with 3D printing technology, this bathroom sink faucet with cube handles was inspired by the cubist and Mid-Century modern movements.

DeKauri, a freestanding bathroom vanity unit designed by Cosentino and Riva 1920, was one of the most exciting pieces showcased at KBIS this year. The unit is crafted from New Zealand’s beautiful Kauri wood, a white Dekton trough sink, mirror and LED lighting. The doors can be closed, and the vanity is then hidden away from prying eyes.
