Bring a little bit of spring inside with these home design trends.

The first step is to do some spring cleaning! Experts recommend starting one room at a time, this way the overall task is much less daunting. If you have a lot of winter clothing or other items, make sure to store them away to keep your home clutter free!

Bring some real green into your home! Flowers and small green plants help to refresh any space. Place hanging plants on shelves and large potted plants in corners. If you don’t have a green-thumb, consider buying artificial plants or plants with very low maintenance like Jade!

Bright and fun colors are spring and summer staples! These colors can be used in furniture, small or large decor pieces and even paint colors. If you want to keep most of your house quite neutral, consider painting the inside of your cabinets in a fun color. Painting your ceiling in a fun accent color is another statement home design trend we can get behind. If vibrant colors aren’t quite your style, using pastels and other light colors is a spring classic.

Speaking of color, it’s not too late to incorporate Pantone’s color of the year into your home! This year’s color is Ultra Violet, which symbolizes originality, ingenuity, and visionary thinking that points us toward the future.” Purple has long been associated with meditation and other mindfulness practices. Featuring Ultra Violet in your home will ensure a peaceful and relaxing start to the new season! Click here to see which colors pair best with Ultra Violet.

Bringing in natural influences is another huge trend for Spring 2018. Natural stones like quartz, Murfreesboro marble or granite are sturdy materials that can be used in many different ways from countertops and fireplaces to cutting boards! Wood accents are another option if stone doesn’t quite fit into your home design.
