Whether it’s being named one of the the friendliest cities in the world or being mentioned as one of the best places to look for a job right now, the city of Nashville is continuing to gain national (and international) recognition for a variety of different reasons.
As we inch closer to the end of summer and gear up for the busy fall season, national financial website WalletHub is also taking notice in Nashville’s red hot real estate market, naming it one of the best large cities to buy a home in 2016.
The study, which is based on 16 different financial categories like median home price appreciation, the percentage of homes selling for a gain, and rent-to-sale price ratio just to name a few, ranks Nashville as the 3rd best big city to buy a home, and 14th overall.
Categories where Nashville scored exceptionally well include unemployment rate, where it ranked first overall, and foreclosure rate, where it ranked 16th best.
