The first weekend of the month serves up Fall Fest at The Hermitage, a community-friendly event for local and regional artists to showcase their work. Enjoy shopping for jewelry, photography, ceramics, paintings and more, along with enjoying live music.

Nashville Oktoberfest- October 7-9

The next weekend ushers in Oktoberfest in Nashville’s Germantown area. Expect to find German food and beer for sale, plus polka dancing and plenty of live German music. The best part, the event is free and family-friendly.

Day of the Dead Tequila Festival- October 28

Tequila is on tap October 28 for the Day of the Dead Tequila Festival. The event features more than two-dozen types of tequila, tacos provided by The Local Taco, music and more. The festival is held at Pavilion East.

Cheekwood Harvest- Through October 30

There’s plenty of time left to enjoy Cheekwood Harvest at Cheekwood Botanical Garden and Museum of Art. Through October 30 the location has thousands of chrysanthemums on display, along with scarecrows, model train sets and a pumpkin patch.
