Nashville High Rise Construction If you remember plans being revealed in early 2015 about a 25-story high-rise possibly being developed in Midtown, you might be interested to learn that the same developer is now looking to move forward with the project, only in a different location.

The original project site was just recently sold to Vanderbilt University, but according to a recent report from the Nashville Post, developer Ardavan Afrakhteh is currently exploring other options to finally build the sleek new 25-story tower, which could include condos, a boutique hotel, and even some ground level commercial space if the original plan comes to fruition.

Also noted by the Post was that the original Midtown parcels, located at 1912 ,1918, and 1922 Broadway, were purchased by Vanderbilt for $13.25 million, and no additional details were released about where the new high-rise would be developed.

But in a market that’s desperately lacking both new construction and condominium residences, the new high-rise can’t come soon enough for upscale condo buyers wanting something in or around downtown Nashville.
